New week - New perspective
It has been an interesting weekend - do you know I had forgotten the delights of waking up in the morning to discover you don't have to rush about to get ready for work! I just go downstairs and start the computer up!
Well my new business is coming along - I will soon be launching my website and then you can all critique it! I have loads of emails to send out now that I have my computer working properly again and have promised myself I will set a target of 25 a day to get through them all! Yes I know I could send the same email to everyone but that is not the same, and there are different things want to say to different people.
We had a huge bonfire last night and cleared out most of the old fencing and rotten wood and old plants from the garden - I can walk all the way to the bottom now! Lizzie announced she has had her results in two of her sats tests - Maths and Science - both grade 5 (takes after her mum for brains of course), just waiting on her literature results now. I 've started painting the hallway - it sounds disgusting, but it is now mostly cream and a sort of chocolate milk colour. I worry about Jenny going down late at night to lick the walls! She's a chocoholic!
The dogs think heaven has arrived - David had a flexi day yesterday so we went for a very long walk in the woods with them. It was so peaceful! And a beautiful day too! By the time we had finished everyone (including the dogs) was worn out and we had a very peaceful evening apart from Monty (black retriever) snoring and the telly going pop! Ho Hum - anyone got a decent second hand telly for sale?
Well this is my lunch break time - and my new boss is a hard task master/mistress, so I better get back to web design!
