Southern Beauty

Having moved to Dorset amid great hilarity if we hadn't laughed we'd have cried) and a monster amount of work I think I may already have mentioned it is worth it!

Friday evening saw us with crowds of others on Swanage beach front watching surfers, divers and the yatch's in a stunning bay. The fish and chips was as usual excellent - the carnival was due and people were prepping with face paints, some in costume (or maybe that was just unusual dress?) and lots of music.

The other half had broken his foot by forgetting to take his disc lock off and then inappropriately trying to ride off! Three broken toes and ripped ligaments later - he was hobbling along the sea front whilst the family alternatly helped and hindered progress. Being te usual patient type - I eventually gave up, plonked him with his chips on a seat and strode off to collect the car.

Bless him!!

So the weekend is even more of a challenge than mid-week now! I get home on Friday's and spend the weekend washing, drying, weeding the veg patch and mowing the grass, as well as doing the heavy stuff, shifting doors, and generally breaking myself!

Oh the life of a hard done to woman!
